Strength training is vital to one’s overall health, to that of women. Due to the decreasing presence of the estrogen hormone as women age, women experience bone density loss at a greater rate than men do and are thus more susceptible to osteoporosis, osteoporosis related injuries, and general weakness and reduced function than men throughout their lifetime. Strength training is the only exercise that builds bone density and thus helps prevent these negative out- comes. Strong Her encourages women to get stronger.
