The BRCA abbreviation stands for “BReast CAncer”. The BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes in the human body regulate cell count, and produce proteins that suppress the development of tumors. The main goal of BRCA Get Screened is to encourage someone to get genetic testing, and know if they carry the BRCA gene mutations. Getting screened for these types of gene mutations is the only way to know and take action.
