Campaign
The focus of Blinded by the Like is social media and the negative effects that it can have on our perception of reality. We have replaced in person compliments with likes on photos, meeting new people with follows on an app, and discussing life moments through the use of a comment section. We are disregarding these aspects of social connection and have put them on the back burner where individuals can no longer process what’s in front of them in reality but rather only what’s on their device. In other words, we have become “blinded by the like.” It’s all we see, and it is soon going to become all we know.
